This BEAUTY is Gracie!!!! She is a GORGEOUS Flat-coated Retriever/Golden Retriever Mix. Those of you who don't know what a Flat-coated retriever is, It is like a golden retriever but black with the same outgoing loving personality. Gracie is approx 5 mos old and weighs 22 lbs. so will probably be a medium/large size dog when full grown. She is being fostered in the south and here is what her foster family has to say------Gracie is a very loving, affectionate and happy girl that loves everyone. She has a high energy level and loves to play. She is currently living with children in her foster home and just LOVES them. Gracie gets along great with older & large dogs and tries to dominate smaller dogs. She is doing GREAT with her crate training and working on her house training. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
