Gretta is a stunning Smooth Coated Collie/German Shepherd Dog. She is approx 18 months old. Gretta was rescued from a high kill facility in upper SC.
Gretta is a wonderful blend of both the Collie and GSD. Her movements and body and much of her personality come from her Collie heritage. Gretta's coat color and her attentiveness show her GSD background.
Gretta has a very gentle nurturing spirit common to both herding breeds. She enjoyed playing with Joel, a 10 week old GSD puppy, and she interacts well with her foster siblings.
With her sweet gentle nature and her joy of life she has with the freedom she now enjoys,I believe Gretta would make a wonderful companion for a family with children.
Gretta moves with the grace of a ballerina. She is very attentive and would enjoy some formal training.
Gretta enjoys playing with a ball. She loves to snuggle and get her belly rubbed.
Gretta is very gentle when taking snacks. She enjoys eating her meals slowly. She seems to savor the taste of the good food she now enjoys.
Gretta has been Spayed, is up to date on all her Vaccination, she is Heratworm Negative and Gretta is even Microchipped.
Gretta is ready for adoption.
Gretta will only be adopted as an inside family member to a home where the "Herding Breeds" are loved and appreciated.
