My Story

***FENCED YARD REQUIRED*** Please Note - Grissom is being cared for by Fayette County Animal Rescue in Rossville, TN. Adopter's Costs: Adoption Fee $95.00 Transport Fee $165.00 Health Certificate $25.00 For videos of our adoptable animals, check out our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/channel/UCeG4XqjKtZFAYVM6EFV4FRQ NEWS ALERT!!! Grissom has had professional training!!!! With plenty of love and energy, Grissom is a lovely boy capable of lighting up any room he enters! Even though he is almost 2 years old, Grissom still has this charming, puppy-like nature that will make your heart melt. He’s a full-blown goofball and a playful extrovert. The way he smiles will have you wrapped around his paw! Another factor that makes Grissom so loveable is that he is also a big softie at heart. He is always extra sweet and affectionate, even with humans he just met. So much so that his love for kisses rivals his love of snacks! He’s undeniably a good-looking and sweet boy too. We believe he has some Doberman in him, though we aren’t sure. Grissom is a wonderful boy to have around, and he’s looking for a forever home and family that could love and take care of him. One of Grissom’s talents is his ability to climb chain link fences, so his new home must have a 6-foot privacy fence or something similar! Grissom's date of birth is 7/13/2022 and he weighs about 65 pounds. All our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95. This fee includes: • Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following: • Fenced yard. We will ask for a video that shows the entire fence so that we can verify that there are no holes or gaps where the dog could escape. (We do not accept invisible fences.) • Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of a 3 month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet. • If renting, verification with the Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions. If you are interested in adopting one our rescues, please complete our Online Adoption Application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/animals.
