Male Black Mouth Cur 2 years (04/15/2022) 61 lbs Neutered/Microchipped Current on Shots Good evening! My name is Gus and I stick by my humans like Velcro! I am a LOYAL, HANDSOME boy who is very SMART and just wants to be with a person or family BUT PLEASE this time a kind human! I have scars on my back possibly from a chemical burn or a fire burn from wherever I came from. My back is all healed now, and I just want a family to love me and to share lots of CUDDLES and love. Animal control picked me up as a stray and I spent some time in the pound until we had a foster home available. Gus is a great boy who is house, and crate trained, loves CRUISING in the car letting his ears fly and feeling free. I bet he would love riding in a jeep! Gus loves stuffy toys even carrying them on walks and he does not destroy them, and he is very well mannered inside and NOT destructive. Gus does well on leash and loves to play tug. He has learned the boundaries around his house when outside and knows not to cross them. Gus sits by the door until his leash is attached before going out. Gus is good with dogs especially his new little girlfriend, Suki. SEE VIDEO. Gus doesn't care for cats. Gus loves to cuddle and is an automatic lap dog (even though he's a little large) and even sits on the outdoor swing with one of his fosters. When his foster goes to bed he goes right to his crate and lays down leaving the door open and sleeps like a baby all night. Gus deserves a chance at a new beginning with a family that won't hurt him and will love and share their life with him and to wipe away all those past memories. He would love to be a part of family vacations and functions. Gus would be a great companion to come home too and would make you happy on sad days. Road trips would be great as well sharing adventures and exploring and just having fun. FYI--a complete stranger came up and sat by the pool and Gus wiggled his way onto her lap and loved every minute.
