Harley

**ADOPTED** Happy Endings... I spent so many hours searching the Internet for animal shelter and rescue sites. I picked out a new dog I wanted to adopt almost every day. My mom would say, "that’s nice Miranda", and that would be the end of it. Then one day I found Harley. I knew immediately that he was the dog for me. My mom must have known too because we filled out the adoption form on-line and emailed it on Friday. The website said that the Animal Rescue Fund would be at Petsmart the next day so we left my cousin’s birthday party early and headed for Little Rock. As soon as we walked in I spotted Harley. There were a couple of ladies asking questions about him and I could hardly keep from grabbing him and making a run for the door. My mom has much more patience than I do and she waited her turn to ask questions. Well, one thing lead to another and now Harley lives with me, my mom and dad. My only problem now is sharing Harley with my dad. He loves to play with him as much as I do. I’m not bragging when I say Harley is the "perfect dog". He is housetrained, does tricks, sleeps all night, eats well, plays with his toys, and sits at your feet while you do homework or watch TV. He has made new friends with our friend’s pets Socks and Scruffles (2 miniature schnauzers) and Ellie and Napoleon (2 cats) and when my grandparents sit for him their cat Cookie looks all over the house for him after he leaves. I could not have found a better friend if I had spent a million dollars. I love Harley and I’m pretty sure he feels the same. I hope so! Miranda
