Heidi is 8 years old in these pictures taken April 3, 2010. She came to LP because her owner died and the daughter needed to find a place for her and her sister. Heidi's sister, Cry Baby, was given to someone, but the daughter ran out of time and turned Heidi over to us.
Heidi is 30 pounds of love. She is very sweet, loving, and funny. She has actually lost some weight being at LP. Heidi went to an independent living / assisted living in April and was a big hit. She does need a little work on the leash, does ok in the car, and gets along well with all of the dogs she has met. The one cat she met at the vet, she wasn't interested in.
Heidi does well with all ages of people, but because of her weight, we think it would be best that she go to a home without children for fear they may drop her if they try to pick her up. This happy girl is housebroken. However, if it is raining, she prefers to use the papers. Heidi likes to sleep with you and is afraid of storms.
Heidi has been tested for Heartworms/Lyme/Ehrlichia and is negative. She is on HW preventative.
