Henry is one of the best dogs that you'll ever meet. He is an 8 year old lab mix that comes from the beatuiful island of St. Thomas. Henry had been adopted as a puppy and recently returned to the shelter. He is 8 years old and heartworm positive. He also has fatty tumors all over his body. We've been told they are benign but will be having him evaluated. Because of this he got dumped and would have died in the shelter if we hadn't come in to rescue him.
He has a beautiful soul and eyes that just look at you begging for love. As he undergoes his heartworm treatment he needs to be kept calm and can only take very short leash walks so at this time he may be better as an only dog or another very calm dog. He does seem to have a bit of prey drive so no other small animals in the home. Once you meet him you'll fall in love.
