Henry is 7 years old and weighs 75 lbs. He is being fostered in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued by SNIPSA from San Antonio's Animal Control. He had been picked up as a stray by Animal Control and no one came to claim him. Henry narrowly missed being euthanized at the pound.
Henry is approaching senior status, but this does not hold him back. He LOVES to romp in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves chasing and retrieving balls. Henry will make an outstanding family pet. He's very affectionate and loving ... and, there are many benefits to living with an older pet that is past the "puppy terror/youthful high energy" stage of life! Henry isn't mischievous, he's well-behaved, housebroken, and just a laid-back, terrific sweet Labrador Retriever!
