Holly

Holly is approximately 1 year old, she has been at the Shelter since 8/2/10. Holly is a super friendly girl who has never met a stranger. She's got a lot of energy and would be a great addition to an active home. Once she gets some energy burned off - she's all about you. Holly is a smart girl who is very treat-oriented and wants to please, so she would excel in obedience class. She knows "sit" and is quickly learning "down." In addition to being smart, she's super sweet and affectionate, Holly is what we call a "wiggle butt" because her whole body wags when she's happy. She met a male dog off-leash and did wonderfully - she was more interested in the people than the dog but that's not a bad thing. Holly is a beautiful girl and is a great size. She would be an excellent running partner or companion for an active family. This girl has it all! ***Please let the Shelter staff know you saw this dog on Petfinder.com. All the animals at the shelter are spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, are microchipped, and have current rabies vaccines and Alachua County licenses. With all adoptions we offer a free vet exam to the vet of your choice in Alachua County. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and puppies, $75 for cats and kittens, and $45 for New Hope dogs or $33 for New Hope cats. New Hopes are animals that have been here for an extended period of time.
