Honey

Honey is about 5 year old hound mix weight around 54. She was unsolicited as pup and well into her adult life so is still learning to trust people. She's housebroken and crate trained and loves to go for walks and is perfect on leash. She good with other dogs and although as her foster I don't have cats I can't see her hurting them. She needs a home probably not with a lot of humans especially as she starts to warm up to humans. Although scared of humans at first she has never show any aggressive behavior towards them. Although she good with dogs. I think she might warm up better to her new human if she was only dog since she tends to go to them to feel safe and it would be better for her to go to her human instead. So her perfect human would be someone who's willing to work to earn her trust she isn't instantly going to be a lap dog. But she can if worked with because she does with me as her foster who's been working with her. She likes to sleep with me and has gradually got where she lays her head on me at night although she prefers pillow beside my head but unfortunately that's usually taken in her foster home. So she needs someone who doesn't expect instant gradation you need to work for her trust. But she's so worth it. Watching her progress has been an amazing journey as her foster. And she's my second fear of people foster. The first has been adopted goes everywhere with his humans even training sessions with his mom who's a police officer. Where he met lots of people and loved it but at the same time laid on his blanket where his mom put him while they did training session. Anything is possible if your willing to work for it.
