Friendly female who arrived on a farm out near the town dump - likely left there to fend for herself. Her family was found but has shown no desire to take her back, which is sad because she is a really sweet dog. She's about knee height, probably about 5 years old. Seems to enjoy riding inside the truck and sat nicely while doing so. Calm disposition. Seems to get along with (or ignore) cats and did get along with another dog at the home where she had been kept for a couple of days. She has a bit of a lame back leg which was from being hit by a truck, but it doesn't appear to bother her. She seemed fine to run alongside a quad with this leg. The injury happened around 2 years ago. Hope does well on and off leash - she doesn't tend to wander far from her caregiver. She will warn if someone is approaching but does not get aggressive or chase. Adopted April 13/05
