My Story

Hunter is a one year old Newfoundland. He is very sweet and loving. He is house and crate trained. He gets along with dogs and people. No children under 12 due to him being a large (104 lb) puppy that doesn't know boundaries yet. He will probably be 140 lbs when full grown. He needs at least a 5 foot fenced yard and someone dedicated to working on training (including on leash) and consistent grooming. Must love drool! No cats for this boy. Hunter is a counter surfer and will steal food if given the opportunity. He is treat motivated. He knows sit, down and working on stay. Hunter is a runner and will try to push out the door. Hunter came to us Heartworm Positive and in need of eye surgery. We provided him with entropion eye surgery and a safe place for treatment. He is now Heartworm free and happy as ever. He will require annual Heartworm testing as all dogs do. Hunter’s $500 adoption includes past surgeries and treatment, his neuter, rabies tag, vaccines, and microchip.
