Jack

Please meet Jack, he is three years old, with the energy and playfulness of a puppy. His mom is fighting a health battle, she has diminished energy and strength and reluctantly placed Jack in our care to find him a great home. We are still learning about Jack, but one thing we've found out is he does best with confident dogs and tends to take advantage of more timid, nervous dogs. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, housebroken and has been very well cared for. He is crate trained, although not a fan. He needs an owner that can give him rules, boundaries and structure. He is a pretty good boy on leash with the appropriate collar, knows commands and has excellent recall. He is very sweet natured and has been trained to look to his handler for instruction, if you don't give him that instruction he will frolic off on his own. Jack is high energy, loves to run and play and loves water. He is familiar with a doggie door (he learned it very quickly). He is currently being fostered with a pack of 8 other dogs, the first few days he was quiet and shy but now he understands his place in the group and is learning from them everyday.
