Not a great picture, but you get the idea! Jack is about 2 years old and weighs about 23#. We rescued him from a high-kill shelter, where he was a stray, so we do not have any information on his past.
Jack loves to sniff and sniff and sniff, like all hound dogs! He also likes to play a little fetch. He doesn't mind a little hugging, too. He is just one happy boy! Jack is very cuddly--not at all hyper like most JRT.
He gets along with other dogs, cats and children. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He is actually quite shy at first and very sensitive to loud voices.
Jack is crate trained and is working on his house training. He has also begun his Basic Obedience classes and is doing good.
Who wants to give this cute little guy a forever home?
This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, vet checked, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. You must have an approved application before you can visit the dog. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just let us know. If you have questions about the dog, please call C.A.R.E.S. after 6:00 p.m. or email us. Sorry, but C.A.R.E.S. will NOT return long distance phone calls--our money is better spent on dog food............Thank you!
