He would love a life ifull of adventure! Since coming to live with this new foster family, Jack fell into his new routine pretty quickly. He is perfectly housebroken with doggie door. He is energetic and loves fetch, chewing on sturdy dog toys and antlers along with his beloved tennis balls, which he likes to carry. .He understands that it's time to sleep and be calm when kenneled. He currently spends the night on a dog bed (or sometimes a people bed) and likes to take naps on the living room couch with the other dogs. Jack plays enthustically with other dogs, I would only suggest that he be placed in a home with dogs of a similar size and energy level. He may be too large and active for households young kids. He might chase small animals if they run but can be easily controlled on a leash and behaves well on road trips. Early life: Jack is a rescued Carolina Dog, North America's dingo or native dog breed. He was rescued from a neighborhood in South Sac where he was chained to a pole in a backyard by a towing chain, with less than 8 feet of slack. He had no shelter from the sun or rain, and no freedom to run or play. While his previous owners did make sure he was fed and had water, he had little to no interaction with his owners and was mainly just a backyard dog used for security. After his rescue, he spent a little over a month in a kenneling situation at a local rescue ranch before coming to a foster home of two adults and two other medium-sized rescue dogs, one male and one female. He loves being family.
