My Story

Meet Jack Jack, the CEO of the Itty Bitty Pitty Committee! Jack Jack is a 5 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs a petite 39lbs - the perfect portable size. Jack's life changed for the better when a BFDR coordinator happened to stop in to a rural shelter in Alabama, where he was dumped, on the way home from vacation. She couldn't leave him behind! He is impeccably house trained and crate trained and loves to sleep in the bed! He is the perfect medium energy mix of snuggly and playful, has great leash manners and rides well in the car. Bonus - he's not a barker! Jack Jack is a certified ladies man and definitely prefers women. He is afraid of men, so any dudes in the home will need to be patient with Jack as he learns to trust. He would do best with kids 12+ that won't manhandle him and know how to respect dogs! He does well with chill dogs and lives with canines of all shapes and sizes in his foster home. He will, however, chase the kitties - so none of those, please! He is a lovely dog and will make a great companion or family member! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please apply online, at https://bigfluffydogs.com/adopt/adoption-application/ and email [email protected] Our main website, www.bigfluffydogs.com has more information about us and the rescue process. WE REGRET WE CANNOT RESPOND TO EVERY EMAIL, BUT UNLESS YOU FILL OUT AN APPLICATION, WE DO NOT KNOW YOU EXIST. All known information about an individual dog is provided in its listing. We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters should understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be.
