Hi there! I'm Jack Jack, a 1-year-old chesnut and white hound/pit bull mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. I'm a sweet boy who still has that puppy energy and curiosity, always ready for an adventure in the backyard. You'll often find me bouncing around with joy as I explore my surroundings.
One of my favorite tricks is standing and taking a few steps on my hind legs. I absolutely adore cuddles and will let you snuggle me like a baby for a few precious moments. My curly-que tail, similar to a Basenji's, adds a unique touch to my charming personality.
I've quickly caught on to potty training and am very treat-motivated, making me a fast learner when it comes to basic training cues. I'm a good eater and even enjoy fruits like bananas and strawberries. Blueberries, though, are a bit of a mystery to me—I tend to spit them out and try again, which always makes my foster family laugh.
While I don't like being crated, I'm well-behaved outside of it. I love my friend Whinney Poo and enjoy checking on her, but I'm not too fond of other dogs. With some time to decompress and slow introductions, I might be able to get along with other dogs, but we're not sure yet. My best friend Whinney Poo and I can be adopted together, but we're not bonded, so we can also go to separate homes.
I am neutered, vaccinated and have been treated for heartworms. I'm currently being fostered in Franklin, TN, but I can be transported to a forever home out of state if it's the right fit. If you're looking for a playful, loving companion who will bring joy and laughter into your life, I'm your girl! Let's make some wonderful memories together.
