JACKSON-

Jackson is a young male Catahoula that is being fostered in New Mexico. If anyone is interested in him that is a long distance from him and are willing to fly this nice boy to you, we will be happy to help you with the arrangements. Jackson was found wandering the streets of Ruidoso, though why anyone would let this one get away is a mystery. At just under a year old, this gorgeous boy is a bundle of energy and will need an active household that will give him the exercise he needs. He’s fine with just hanging out in the house with his pack, but when we’re out and about it’s go go go. He gets along with other dogs, and would love a home where he has play buddies. Although he is sometimes wary of new people and a little timid, he warms up really quickly and wants to jump in everybody’s lap and be petted and loved. He is crate trained and will also sleep quietly by your bed at night without annoying you. He doesn’t pull on the leash, loves to go for walks, and sticks around at the fenced off-leash park. He’s working on his manners (not jumping up, not sniffing the countertops, etc,) but has already learned how to sit and stay in two days! He’s very quiet in the house, but is vocal when outside romping around, especially with other dogs. Jackson is neutered and has never had an accident in the house. His foster mom thinks Jackson is pretty much the perfect young dog. He’ll make an awesome companion.
