My Story

Jackson is a beautiful black pure breed cocker spaniel (with papers) that is doing extremely well in his foster home. He gets along well with the other dogs and is very good in the home. He is potty trained and loves attention. His favorite spot is right next to you. Jackson is a senior 10 year old boy that needs a permanent home. He is doing very well and is expected to live a long life. This dog is well suited for the retired couple that wants a dog but not up for the puppy stages. Jackson is in a foster based rescue that screens, does home visits and requires an adoption fee. Jackson is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all shots and is heartworm negative. It was found that Jackson has an eye condition called dry eye. This is a condition that is easily treated with two treatments a day. His tear ducts aren't producing enough tears and the poor dog was in pain until we discovered this. Dogs with dry eye can live normal lives and this doesn't not shorten their lives or affect them negatively as long as the owner is careful to apply the salve directly to the eyes twice a day.
