Jackson

This handsome fellow is Jackson! Jackson is an approximately 3-year old male Labrador mix and weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued from a small rural shelter in Oklahoma. Jackson is so sweet and affectionate (maybe a little too affectionate for small children). He is a strong boy. He is such a goofy boy and just wants to love you! His best life would be with an active individual or family to help him burn energy and get his playfulness out, then he is a mellow boy ready to just relax and be by your side. Adequate exercise is essential for his success. He would be happy to run, walk, or hike with you. Jackson plays with an assortment of dogs in doggy daycare, but a playful dog close to his size would be ideal. He loves to play with other dogs, but he is also very people orientated, so in the right situation (active home, with plenty of exercise), he would be fine as an only dog. He is crate-trained, keeps a clean kennel in boarding, and would do best with an Easy Walker type harness and leash. He rides very well in the car. Jackson is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
