Meet Jake! He is a 50 lb happy, energetic 1 year old puppy who loves to run, play, cuddle and lay in the sun.
Jake loves being part of the family and enjoys hugs and belly rubs. He is athletic and loves playing catch in the yard. He has a high level of energy and would do best with a family that will provide him with the exercise that he requires to thrive.
An experienced dog parent would be ideal as understanding and patience will allow Jake to mature.
He is a smart dog who learns quickly but needs reinforcement since he is still a pup. He responds well to training, which should continue in the home he is adopted into. Jake is potty trained and crate trained.
Jake loves to play with the two dogs in his foster home, but he also enjoys individual attention so both options could be explored. At least one meet and greet with your dog would be required.
Older children would be fine but he would probably be a bit too much for little ones at this time.
