HI there please meet Jake
Good looking fellow isn’t he ??
Jake is a very unique looking 2 year old, neutered male that
is housetrained and up to date on vaccines.
His breed ??? Well we are all undecided and you are welcome
to email your suggestions BUT we have decided to think that
He is a Bearded Collie ?terrier mix …. But honestly this
a guess and your guess is as good as
ours. We really have no idea what breeds
He is mixed with. Only that he is really neat looking and
lots of fun.
Jake has two blue eyes (very COOL ) he has a thick
short body and wirey hair low shed if at all he weighs in at 2) pounds
He has a silly and scrappy personality. These photos were
taken prior to his grooming, we will post new pixs as soon as we get them but trust me when
I say he is much cuter now !!
Jake
likes to do lots of fun things or nothing at all. He can fit in just about anywhere.
He enjoys older children and adults, Jake has and minimal exposure
to toddlers and babies but seems to enjoy them too. He is used to cats but will
give
chase if they run (come on it’s great fun). He gets along
well with submissive dogs but has a bit of a Napoleon complex so aggressive
dogs and Jake are not
a good match.
Jake loves long walks and playing fetch as much as he enjoys
laying on the couch beside you.
Do you have room for Jake in your heart and home ??? If so
please complete the application and we can put you right in touch with his
coordinator.
“Paws” for a moment and read this
listing completely !!!

Adoption Facts:
1. You
must be 21 years or older to adopt
2. We
DO NOT place pets more than 100
miles out of NYC
3. An
adoption application is required (link below)
4. There
is a pre-screening process for potential home placement,
including a phone interview and the initial application.
(This benefits you, our foster
homes and the pet.) This is all done BEFORE you meet the pet.
5. Be
advised that we do respond to each and every completed application within
a 14 day period. Please be patient we know you are
anxious to adopt
there are only so
many hours in a day. We are trying our best. At this time we are
unable to respond to
emails with questions (will he fit my home? Is he available? I have xyz will he
like it here?)
We recommend completing an application if you
want a response.
