My Story

Jake (04-109) is a tri-colored male basset who was turned-in to the Carroll County shelter by his owners. This 6 year-old boy did test positive for heartworms and has now completed treatment. He has just been placed in foster care after being boarded at a BHRG vet while he went through heartworm treatment. Jake is a beautiful, mostly black gentleman. He has very long ears with a few "character marks" on the ends. The vet's office staff say Jake is a really nice boy. He's put on some weight and is working on getting healthy. The vet has been working on clearing up some ongoing ear infections. For more photos and for information on adopting this dog, please visit http://www.bhrg.org.
