Hey folks, my name is Jake! I ended up here due to my family feeling as though I needed more space than they could offer. I thank them for wanting what is best for me, but I also am a super sweet boy who does very well in the home when left alone! I have lived with other dogs and children, so that is no issue for me! My previous family left a note at the bottom of my paperwork that says "Jake is literally perfect and he LOVES to run and play." There is nothing bad anyone can say about me and the staff here keeps assuring me they will find me a forever home so soon! I will warn you, I like to run, so hold on tight when you put me on a leash! I have good manners, but I get super excited initially and it may take a little bit for me to calm down and get the hang of your pace! One thing that I would LOVE in my new home is a fence!!! Oh, what a dream it would be to have a huge fenced in backyard (oooohhhh, aahhhhhh)!!!! If you're in the market for a handsome hiking partner, I am the one for you!!!!
