Jake-PENDING

If you want a little dog that will be loyal to the bone, this is your guy. We call him "Jake" and our best guess is that he is some kind of "bird-dog" cross weighing in at about 35-40 lbs. Although timid at first, this little guy warms up in no time, will follow your EVERY move like you are about to disappear into space, and will cuddle on the couch with you all night long. His foster mom found him roaming a back country road in the middle of the night, couldn't catch him, but went back the next night and he happened to be in a yard about 2 miles down the road obviously VERY hungry and lost. Needless to say, he couldn't be left out in the cold any longer! He is learning what it is like to be let in the house, his obedience is coming along magnificently, and he is slowly learning to go outside to potty although this is the beginning of this process and he needs some more practice. "Jake" will need to go to a home that is a little on the quieter side and a fenced in yard is definitely preferred. This little guy is learning to come to his name, but when he gets on a trail he is off to the races.
