My Story

Jaime is a beautiful soul who was rescued hours from euthanasia in Texas. He had mange, heartworm, and had been clearly abused. He has been in a foster home for 3 years and has done wonderfully. He used to be terrified of people and now will meet most strangers willingly. He had excellent house manners and loves to cuddle on the couch. He also loves to go on adventures outside in between cuddle sessions. Because Jamie was abused, he needs a family that is patient and soft spoken. He does fine with men but does bond harder to women, and would love a single woman who is at home a lot and is looking for a quiet little shadow. Jaime is nervous around young children and is looking for a small-child free home (he has done OK with child visitors). Jamie loves grass and laying in the sun when it’s nice out. Jaime has lived with dozens of other dogs in his foster home and has done well. However recently a stray dog in the neighborhood dug into his yard and attacked him. This has left him nervous around his bigger dog friends and we think he would love a quieter home life than he has now with 4 other dogs. Jaime’s foster mom would love it if his new family would stay in touch. Jamie takes a little longer to warm up but you are rewarded with total loyalty and the funniest personality. Jamie is neutered, microchipped, and is heartworm free. Please apply for Jaime today. Www.freedomboundhounds.com/adopt
