My Story

Jamie Fraser is a distinguished older gentleman who would like to live out his retirement years on a large orthopedic bed, dining on the finest of foods, and acting as your shadow. He is a quiet and unassuming force of nature in the home. Jamie is a wonderful dog who would enjoy nothing more than lounging with you at home all day, followed by a few quick walks down the block, meeting some dog friends, and then returning home, where he will then follow you from room to room. Jamie is: 8 years young Cocker Spaniel 25lbs Wonderful with people Good with other calm dogs Walks well on a leash but is a bit slow due to his arthritis Loves being in the car Jamie would be a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for a dog that wants to live out their days in quiet comfort. Jamie does have arthritis which is managed with medication from the vet. He gets around just fine but short spurts of exercise are best for him - 5 min walks down the block a few times a day are all that this sweet senior needs. Please note: Jamie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He is available to adopt immediately through our foster to adopt program - the adoption would be finalized once he completes his heartworm treatment. Otherwise, he will be available for local adoption at the beginning of September. Additionally, he is not currently neutered but he will be when he completes heartworm treatment. No adoptions will be finalized until he is neutered.
