MEET JANIE Janie has been one of our beloved residents since she was just a puppy. Now 3 years old, she has grown into a delightful and spirited companion who brings joy to everyone she meets. We believe Janie is a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Pit Bull, boasting a unique charm that’s hard to resist. Janie is a super fun dog who loves to play with other dogs and cats. She’s also a bit of a water enthusiast, so expect some splashy fun if you have a pool or live near a lake! Mischievous by nature, she’s always finding ways to entertain herself and you. One of her quirkiest habits? She loves to photo-bomb, making sure she’s always the star of your pictures! Despite her playful personality, Janie can be shy with new people. However, once she warms up, she’s wide open and full of affection. She’s housetrained, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines, ready to become a cherished member of your family. --- Why Adopt Janie? Housetrained & Healthy: Fully vaccinated, spayed, and housetrained, Janie is ready to transition smoothly into her new home. Special Adoption Rate: Janie is available for adoption at a special rate of $150. If you're in Vermont, she can be transported for an additional $200. --- A Brief History Janie was surrendered to us as a puppy and has since become an integral part of our shelter family. Fostered in AL, she remains our cheerful greeter for all new arrivals, though she’s still waiting for her own forever home.
