Jasmine

DOB: 11/1/2021 Weight: 28# She is vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, spayed, microchipped with lifetime registration to the rescue, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Jasmine was living on the streets in a bad part of town. She's very compact and small. She doesn't even come up to my knees and is about the size of a beagle. She has beautiful black/tan markings and a cute little underbite. She was very anemic with a heavy intestinal worm load and infested with fleas. But she's all healthy now. She is so smart and eager to please. She's funny and will zoom around and fling her toys and finds joy in just getting to be an inside dog. She's great in the crate and doing well in the house. She's good in the car. She's doing well walking on leash and exudes a confidence now that she didn't have before. She is very interested in trying to get squirrels. So, she might not do well with cats. When she gets super excited, she will jump and paw. That is the ONLY negative thing that I can say about her. We are working on that as well and she's already improved greatly. Once she's had some zoomies and playtime, she's ready for snuggles and would love a comfy sofa and a person to watch tv with. If you lead an active lifestyle, she's also up for that. I think that she's pretty well rounded and tempered to fit into many different home settings and a good size, not big and not tiny. If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
