Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne is a loving and chill pup! His favorite thing is to lay by you or sit nearby and watch you do whatever you're doing; better yet if you're petting him in the process :) This sweet boy has definitely been in a home before and seems very comfortable with the regular routines of meal times, potty-breaks, and bedtime. Though it took some coaxing to get in the tub, he did great for a long bath, too, and seemed to enjoy the massage and water. This goodest boy is unaffected by thunderstorms, curious but not nervous around loud noises, and loves to meet new people. He is very relaxed riding in a car, is a good eater and is VERY food motivated (easy to train!). He does great on a leash, especially if you let him take his time to smell all of the things. When he gets distracted he is easily redirected with gentle coaxing and kissing noises. He loves a good chew on his bone or game of pull, and likes to run after a ball but loses interest in bringing it back - he would rather explore and smell things! He is super quiet, house-trained, and does great in a crate. He especially loves a cozy bed with a blanket to lay on and a nice window to look out to watch the passersby/neighborhood activity. He knows "sit", "no", "off", "gentle", and occasionally "come". He's also quickly learning "spin around" and "down". He does like to jump up as he is so in love with all the people he meets, but with a gentle correction and shorter leash he stays down. He is sensitive to people yelling and may trot off, but will come back at a timid distance to keep an eye on things and learn about new noises (like shaking out a new trash bag :)). He is interested in other dogs and the geese who live near his foster home (doesn't eat the geese poop though, major win!). Overall he has a playful but gentle spirit and will be a precious addition to any home who wants a chill, medium-sized companion (he's not too tall and easy to pick up!).
