Jasper

Jasper is a 6 month old puppy with the most dignified look about him! His bicolored "hair line" is so unique, and his slightly crooked teeth make the sweetest grin. Jasper is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! He is crate trained, is leash-trained (but doesn't always have the best leash manners), and learns quickly where to go potty in new environments. He loves chewing on chew toys, playing catch me if you can with squeaky and rope toys, and bathing in the sun. Jasper was born on 8/4/2023 after his mom was saved from the euthanasia list at Houston's BARC shelter. Just three days into her foster home, his mom gave birth to 8 healthy pups. Jasper is definitely the biggest of his litter and looks very different from the rest of them! We think his dad was different from the rest, as so often happens with stray/street dog parents. Jasper is fully vetted: vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and HW-. He would thrive in a home with other dogs, or as a solo dog. He is easy going and has a good puppy foundation of positive social experiences with other animals, kids, and different environments. He is a great option for those who worry about the unknown past of a rescued dog, as he was born in the care of a foster and has had no major trauma or medical issues in his history.
