Hi ~ My name is Jawa. I am approximately two years old, weigh 52 pounds and my people think I could be a hound/Great Dane mix. I am a little skinny right now but it’s nothing that some groceries and good living won’t fix. I was found wandering around a neighborhood on a hot day. The nice people who took me in for the night were unable to find my family. You guessed it. No collar with ID and no microchip. I am such a good boy they have been fostering me until I find my forever home. My foster says I am one of the best pups she has ever fostered and she knows what she is talking about. She has fostered quite a few dogs in her lifetime. I am leash trained and like to go on walks in the neighborhood. I am a pretty high energy dog so an active home would be best for me. I am a total ball dog and up for a good game of fetch anytime. I am house trained and crate trained. I ride well in the car and I am a friendly guy. I am good with other dogs. I have a decent amount of energy when I go outside, but when I come inside I am calm. I am well behaved, smart, quick to learn and respond well to training. I would love to try my paws at some hiking and camping. Bring on the s’mores! I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines.
