Jax * Bulldog mix *5 years old and 60 lbs * Super-sweet little fella! * Loves belly rubs and rolls on his back if he thinks he might get one * Needs someone who will spend time with him watching TV and taking walks! Check out our handsome boy JAX. Adopted out as a pup, he's now back and he's now 5 yrs old. Our 60lb bulldogmix is dressed for success with his sleek brindle coat and lovelycream accents. He has asweet, endearing smile which is just now starting to appear. Polite and mild mannered, Jax is still finding his footing at the shelter and sadly, you'll see his tail tucked in with uncertainty. We're reachingfor this good looking fella and taking him on slow paced walks hoping to ease his mind. Without doubt, there is a lot of doggy goodness under his coat and we'll work hard to discover it. In the meantime, come on down and say "Hi" and also check back in with us aswe learn more about this great dog. Facebook Update July 11: Folks have you heard about new arrival JAX??? This cream/brindle coated bully mix was adopted out as a pup and is now back. He's FIVE! He's on our hearts as he's stressed and not sure why he lost his home. He has a sad little face and tucked tail but you know us......we're working super hard to reassure him and brighten his days. Volunteer Marcie got him out to our play yard and tried tossing balls hoping to peak some interest, but alas the balls simply bounced and he looked away. We also invited him to the pool area and gosh, he looked even more sad. Pushing 60lbs, he's a gentle, mild mannered fella. Please send brave vibes to him and while you are at it, might you come on by and see how kind and sensitive he is? For all you know, he could be your new best friend. Let's get Jax home!! Facebook update July 19: Is there any better way to jump start your day than to see Mr JAX smiling in YOUR face??? Our 5 yr old bully mix is sharing with us a lot more smile and less frown. An owner surrender after working hard at his full time pet position, he was a bit sad upon arrival but he's coming along. Yesterday, we had him out walking with newcomer AHSOKA and if you look closely, there was some smooching on the walk! Jax was a good sport in being approached in such a fast and forward manner and took it all in great stride. We enjoy Jax's calm, polite, sensitive aura and can't wait to see that he's rehomed and no longer in need of a pet job. Perhaps you have an opening in your home?? Well, our handsome hunk is STILL here and he's STILL ready to share his smile with YOU! We caught him at a fun moment in our office area with Volunteer Sharon. Jax is 5 yrs old, super polite, calm, gentle and never in a rush...except to head on home! Do yourself a favor, come on by and ask for JAX today. You'll be glad you did!
