My name is Jaxie and I'm a gorgeous girl full of spirit and smarts. I'm looking for a home of my own that will help me continue to learn all about being a good dog. Like any good girl (cause that's what I am) I have been learning all the finer skills in live. I've been practicing positive association to my kennel and while it's not my favourite place to be I am getting better every day and I already know how to do my business outside! I have some struggles on leash, but am practicing every day. I can be reactive to people and dogs but I'm promise I am game to keep working on it with your support! I am learning that I need to focus on my handler but need a confident family who will continue to help me grow. I am a little particular when it comes to doggy friends, but can make friends with calmer dogs the same size as me or bigger, so long as we have a slow introductions and boundaries in the home. I live with two kids right now and have done great with them but do enjoy pawing so older kids would be preffered in my furever home. I do need a home without cats as they are extremely fun to chase and I wouldn't do well living with one. I am told that I'm smart as a whip and sweet as pie. It makes for a great combination with a family who will help me continue to grow and become more confident in myself. I love being outside all of the time to play, hang out or go for a long walk!
