Jaxson needs a home with no other dogs, and a patient human. He's got trust issues because he and his person lived in a home with physical violence.
Once he knows you, he is the most loyal, loving, trusting, friend. He can be protective, and will need to learn that he can relax and just enjoy life in a safe home. We've tried a few times adopting him out but it didn't work out for various reasons. Jaxson is better with women, but has learned to trust our male volunteers, so it can be done.
