If you're looking for a new active companion, Jaxx is your guy! After being surrendered to an animal shelter due to his owner moving away, he found himself extremely sad in this new environment. Since being transferred to Ring Dog Rescue, he's been at a hybrid board and train/foster family and is absolutely THRIVING! Once he warms up, he is the sweetest man and has been so gentle around all kinds of creatures; from chickens to iguanas to cats and other dogs. He loves to play with his doggie friends and has recently learned how to swim. Jaxx is the kind of dog you could take hiking, kayaking, camping, running, and everything in between. While he's been doing amazing with other animals, he can get overstimulated when it comes to sharing toys so it's best to do any rough playing or fetch by himself while he continues to learn more impulse control. He has amazing handler focus and loves to please. He most certainly has the potential for a sport home!
