Jeffrey is a male Black and Tan Coonhound mix who is estimated at 1 year of age (6/30/06). Jeffrey came to the shelter as a stray after he took up residence at a home along Rt. 581/645. Jeffrey has the cropped tail similar to that of a Dobie and the black sleek coat with rust markings. Our guess is someone saw a black and rust dog and decided they wanted him to look like a Doberman rather than the Hound he is. His ears are unclipped and are more in the order of hound-like ears, giving him a very adorable appearance. He is a super sweet and affectionate boy with the most wonderful temperament and disposition. He is medium in size and will be neutered prior to going to a forever home. Jeffrey has had no issues with the other dogs or cats in his foster home and adores people and is great with children. Could he be the one for you?
