Jeffrey is a giant puppy at about a year old and our best guess is that he is an Akita/Elkound mix, but has a much more gregarious personality that the typical Akita. This is one beautiful boy! Jeffi (as lovingly called by the kennel staff) has a golden personality that will absolutely win you over the first time you meet him. He is stunningly marked and is extremely friendly with people and dogs. We aren't 100% sure how he is with cats because when he was introduced he acted as though he had never seen one before and was very interested in them. He sniffed nose to nose with a pretty big kitty and didn't bark, growl, lunge, etc. It's possible he is just naturally curious and with proper supervision might be fine living with cats.
Jeffi is waiting in boarding for a foster home that he desperately needs right now. He has already received all vetting including neuter, heartworm test, worming and all his shots including rabies.
