UPDATE: Returned 8-19-07. by the lion hunter who adopted her stating: "Too old to hunt, would make a better family house pet, a bit of arthritis... aging her closer to 8-9 yrs." A super dog, totally housebroke, very obedient, excellent recall of lead skills, great with other dogs avoids confrontation at all costs, LOVES children, the more the merrier.. Loved hunting, just not as much as being a couch potato!

IN 6-22-06. A REALLY nice girl. About 3-5 yrs. Came to us heavily pregnant and gave us 11 beautiful puppies 3 days later. .
She is a very attentive mommy, loves her babies and lets the kids hold them and is fantastic with other dogs. She is NOT good with cats, however, and will be seeking a home without them. She also seems to have had some hunt training, as she will tree and hold the farm cats. If you are a decent and respectfull hunter, please feel free to apply for her as well. She will be ready to go as soon as she weans the puppies and is spayed. Around the 2nd week of August.
