My Story

JENNA could not understand why her family made no effort to claim her from Animal Control...hadn't she been a good dog? She waited patiently (and fearfully) behind those bars and no one came. Eventually she was rescued, groomed and received medical treatment (specifically for her ears). This four year old Cocker Spaniel has an excellent temperament and is an extremely well behaved little lady; great housemanners, kind hearted, not intrusive but extremely loving, cuddly (if given the opportunity) and accepting of anything (almost to a fault). She has some training (treat oriented), playful but not overactive, loves walks, rides well, barky at times, would prefer a home with no dog or one dog so there is no risk that she will be "forgotten" (she gets lost in a pack easily) and is craving the opportunity to be fully devoted and bonded to someone special in her life. Jenna would excell in an adult home or a home with older children who will respect her gentle nature and treat her lovingly. She will definitely blossom when she again feels the effects of love, commitment and security. She has been let down once...it would be very difficult for this little lady to deal with abandonment again...her heart almost broke the first time.
