Jenny

Meet Jenny, a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. Jenny was adopted as a puppy but sadly lost her original owner. Thankfully, she found her way back to us and is now looking for a new forever home. She is currently just under 60 pounds. Jenny does have some resource guarding tendencies with other dogs, especially when it comes to food and attention. So making sure to feed her separate from other animals in the home is very important. Because of this, she would do best as an only dog or with a much smaller dog with constant supervision. She can sometimes get this way with her humans when it comes to bones as well. She needs slow introductions to people and other dogs, especially larger breeds. Jenny has not been around cats or children, so a home without either would be best for her. Despite her quirks, Jenny is a loving and intelligent pup. She enjoys walks, running around the yard, and snuggling on the couch. She is vocal and may bark at new people or things outside, but she listens well when told to be quiet. Jenny thrives in a structured environment with a routine. She would do best in a patient home that enjoys the outdoors and is willing to take her on walks. Once she builds a bond with her family, Jenny is incredibly loyal and will make a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a smart and loving dog to join your family, Jenny is the one for you.
