‘JACKSON 5’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 - 3 months old / Approx. 7 lbs. & growing Hello, I’m Jermaine – one of the adorable Jackson 5 themed puppies! Mostly Mutts rescued me and my siblings from animal control and we are all super happy about that! I am having a great time – growing and thriving in my foster home. Now, I hear it is time for me to find a family of my very own – how awesome is THAT? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings, as well as the two dogs in my foster home and would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home. If you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / I love the cats in my foster home too, but they don’t seem interested in cementing a friendship with me – oh well. I’m very young, so I’d likely do well with cats in my new home if they like puppies. / I’ve been around gentle children as young as 4 years old in my foster home and I like them. Of course, there was adult supervision as I’m a small guy who could easily get accidentally hurt or stepped on, so I think kids a little older than that could be a good fit for me, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I share my foster home with two of my siblings, and my foster describes all of us as ‘active, playful pups’. In fact, I am very active … and the ring leader of this bunch. I’m more vocal than my brothers and have an exuberant puppy energy you are sure to love! All of us are curious about new things and have no fear of exploring them. / My energy level is 5-7, and a little higher when I get the zoomies! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. My foster says we are smart little guys who are ‘very praise and food motivated’, so training should be easy. I’m already showing some good leash manners in my yard. / My crate manners have been good in my foster home, where I typically settle right down, of course there will likely be an adjustment period for this in my new home. / I’m a young pup and will need you to teach me my outside potty skills. A good and consistent schedule and positive reinforcement will help me learn. Please don’t leave me outside by myself though, as I am small enough to attract the attention of the birds of prey. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to run and tussle with my siblings – always in the middle of the action! I like to play and am fondest of balls. Other toys are fun too, so let’s have lots of play sessions together. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
