Jesse has so much potential but she just keeps getting passed around from home to home and really needs to find a place where she will feel safe, secure and loved. She was surrendered to KCHS the first time about 2 years ago. She was adopted by a cross-country trucker looking for a travel companion. This should have been a great adoption but for some unknown reason, the driver dropped Jesse off with a friend and never came back for her....that was almost 2 years ago. Fortunately Jesse is being well cared for but there are 3 other owned animals in her household and Jesse needs a place to call her own. Jessi has been totally deaf since birth and needs to be an indoor dog in a low to moderate activity household. She is understandably anxious in new places but when she learns to trust, she is calm and sweet. She gets along with kids, other dogs and cats but will do best in a single dog home. She is already housetrained and likes chews,, stuffed animals and balls. She understands several hand signals - Lay, Sit, Go Outside, Mover Over, Lead and Stay. Jesse is a really sweet dog that needs a home to care for her and to gain her trust.
