Jessie

Jesse is a very mellow dog but also knows how to have a lot of fun when given the opportunity! He likes to play with other dogs in his foster home and does love a good chew toy – give him a dog bone and he will be off in his own world for hours. He is very submissive in both play style and also his way of getting extra love and affection! He will roll over to solicit belly rubs often! He will roll over at any point in the hopes of getting some belly rubs. Jesse would be a great dog for just about anyone, but I think he would be most happy if there was another submissive and mellow dog like himself for him to be with. While he likes to play with other dogs, he is timid in the beginning until he knows that the other pup has a welcoming play style and is not mean or aggressive. Jesse could do well in a home where if you are gone for 8 hours a day, he would be fine, especially if there is another dog in the home. He can be very self-sufficient to entertain himself and he has yet to try and dig or escape at his current fosters home.. Jesse likes to cuddle and be a lap dog whenever it is permitted. So while he loves to romp around and go for walks, he also loves to lay low and relax. He is overall very well rounded both in personality, energy and socially. He is potty trained, knows that he needs to 'sit' first to get a treat (although sometimes forgets if he is too excited), and is very patient about being fed. Then once dinner is done, don’t worry, he will come by, roll over and say, give me some belly scratches!
