Jessie is a beautiful girl who was found in the North Hudson area. She arrived at the shelter very skinny and scared. She is one of four labs that were recently found abandoned in the North Hudson and Schroon Lake area. We determined that she had recently weaned a litter of puppies and most likely has had numerous litters in her lifetime. We aren't sure of her age but estimate that she is around 6 years-old. We are happy to say that the life of breeding is behind her. Jessie is doing much better now and has been recently spayed, heartworm tested, vaccinated and microchipped. Jessie does not seem to do well with other dogs at the shelter and may need a home where she can be the only dog. She deserves a loving home where she can be pampered like the princess that she is. Please call the shelter to learn more about her or stop by the shelter any afternoon to meet her.
