My Story

Hi, I'm Jessie. Here's a little back story on how I ended up at Rescue Rehab Rehome. I was wandering around outside of Taft Prison, named after Jessie Dunn, in Oklahoma. I met a guy, one thing led to another, and I ended up pregnant. The wonderful folks at the prison knew that wasn't the best place to give birth. While waiting for my ride to Iowa I had my pups at another rescue in Oklahoma. Since we got to Iowa, I have been loved on by everyone at RRR. I love everyone I meet. Since I'm a middle-aged lady I would do best in a home with more mature dogs. I'd love a spot to lay out in the sun and enjoy my days of freedom. I'm a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) mix and weigh just under 75 pounds. My estimated date of birth is 1/1/2018. If you're interested in giving an older gal a home, please fill out an application at https://rescuerehabrehome.org/dog-adoption-applicationRescue Rehab Rehome does not adopt animals outside the state of Iowa. We do not adopt unaltered animals to adopters living more than a 45 minute drive from the Des Moines, Iowa metropolitan area. We are not able to respond to questions about an animal unless we have received an adoption application.
