Jet

Meet Capone (sable-color, male) and Jet (black-color, male), both Pit Bull Terriers, and both brought to us by a rescue that is closing their doors. They were both pulled from Rutherford County PAWS, Jet in 2022, and Capone in 2020. Capone found a home but had to be returned due to the family moving out of the country. He also needed a double ACL surgery on both of his back knees, which was completed, and he is fully recovered. We are not going to sugar-coat the fact that these dogs will need to be placed in very special homes suited just for them. They are both the sweetest souls, and love humans, but they need humans to understand their needs. Capone needs to be an only dog, and both will not do well with cats. We feel they will be better suited in homes with older children or no children. Jet has done well in play groups with other dogs, and it would just need to be the family that he bonds with the best. We will go over their specific history with you if you are interested in adopting or fostering to adopt. Half of their battle is getting them out of kennels and into homes, as they have spent the better part of a year in either a boarding facility or kenneled off and on in foster homes. These dogs have been through a lot, and we'll stop at nothing to get them into the best-suited homes. Their eyes will break your heart, and their eyes tell a sad story of homes lost, and humans that have let them down. But there is hope still there, and they want to just be able to live relaxed lives with no worry of change or turmoil, and just want to be loved.
