Please welcome Jewel! Jewel is a beautiful, cream and white German Shepherd mix who is 3 years old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. She was rescued from a high kill shelter. Jewel was a staff favorite, and it was reported that this sweet girl was being bullied by her kennel mates. Jewel is now thriving under the loving care of her foster mom! She has the most mesmerizing eyes, is very affectionate and absolutely loves being rubbed and scratched! German Shepherds are known for their intelligence and unwavering loyalty, they need proper training to reach their full potential. She will need an active individual or family who has time to dedicate to taking her for long walks or hikes. Jewel is good with all dogs with proper introductions and would also do well as an only dog. Jewel is potty trained, leash trained and has not been exposed to cats or small children.
