Jimmy Buffet

Jimmy is a happy, laid-back buddy. He’s generally easy-going but still enjoys playing with a dog friend and chasing after a tennis ball. Jimmy is very overweight so he is on the hunt for a fitness partner! He will need a person or family who will keep him active this summer to help him shed some pounds! Jimmy recently attended an adoption event and handled all of the excitement like a pro, enjoying meeting everyone. He’s sweet with people, house-trained, and crate-trained. Before Jimmy was transported to Massachusetts, he was in foster care with another dog and a cat. Other Dogs Dog social - Jimmy had a female dog BFF at the shelter right now. He is very overweight so can't move very fast but he does the best he can! He enjoys lightly playing or just coexisting with the other dog when he gets tired. We believe Jimmy would do best with either females or low energy males. Cats Jimmy was in foster care with a cat. We've also tested him once at our shelter and he did well. We walked Jimmy into the cat room and he was able to observe them from a distance. He was indifferent, a little anxious, and ready to leave the room. Visitors are limited to approved applicants only.
