My Story

Meet Jinx! This sweet senior girl is perfect! She is a quiet and calm happy girl that would love a quiet calm home. She does well with other small dogs, she’s housetrained and uses the potty pads and the doggie door. She does well on a leash but will need practice to make walks fun and exciting. She would probably prefer a quiet area to go for walks. Jinx is approximately 9 to 12 years old and 11 pounds. She has had bloodwork as well as dental cleaning at her vet visit. She also had her spleen removed. She is feeling much better and should have several happy years ahead of her. She loves everybody she comes across and will bark to get their attention! Interested in becoming a forever home for Jinx? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Jinx. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Jinx the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
